Animatic

Tagline: “Tiny people with the biggest dreams.”

Our Process for the Animatic:
Evangeline and her collaborator for this project, Alyson Fournier-Montalvo, first shortened the story from the original finished script written by Evangeline to fit the timeframe for the Quickdraw Animation Society Lockdown Challenge 2025.

Evangeline then created the storyboard directly from the script, which Alyson used as a reference for hand-drawn animation movement. Evangeline also used the storyboards as a reference when drawing the backgrounds.

The montage scene was created using cut-paper animation, and the ending was animated using flip-book animation, both were done by Alyson. Evangeline then handled the compositing and sound design.
